Studio Policies & Tuition
Thank you for choosing to learn and grow with us! Consistent practice and steady instruction are the foundation of musical progress. Our instructors dedicate time each week to prepare individualized lesson plans and ensure every student thrives. To maintain a smooth, reliable schedule for both students and faculty, we ask all families to review and follow the studio guidelines below.
Monthly Tuition & Schedule
Tuition is processed automatically on the 1st of each month using the payment method on file. This flat rate reserves your dedicated weekly recurring lesson slot. Depending on the calendar and holiday closures, months typically contain four lessons, though some may have three or five. The monthly tuition remains constant regardless of the number of calendar weeks.
Attendance & Last-Minute Adjustments
Because your instructor’s time is reserved exclusively for you, tuition is not refunded or prorated for missed lessons. If travel, mild illness, or scheduling conflicts arise on short notice, your session can be conducted live via Zoom during your regularly scheduled time slot to avoid missing instruction.
Make-Up Lessons (In-Person or Zoom)
If a lesson must be rescheduled entirely, students are eligible for a make-up session provided at least 24 hours’ advance notice is given. Make-up lessons may be completed either in-person or via Zoom, depending on your preference and instructor availability. All make-ups must be scheduled during the instructor’s standard teaching hours within an existing open time slot. Make-up sessions do not carry cash value and cannot be deducted from future tuition.
Instructor Substitutions
If your primary instructor is unavailable due to an illness or professional engagement, the studio will provide a qualified substitute teacher or arrange a rescheduled session. Learning from another professional perspective provides valuable musical insight, and regular billing policies continue to apply.
Mid-Month Withdrawals
Tuition is non-refundable once the monthly billing cycle has been processed on the 1st.
Cancellation or Pause Notice
To pause or discontinue lessons, written notice must be submitted to the studio by the 15th of the month prior to your next billing date. Requests received after the 15th will take effect for the following billing cycle.
